This will be AIR PRODUCTS PERFORMANCE MANUFACTURING RESERVE ninth year reporting as owner/ operator of the Reserve Plant. This site is a specialty chemical manufacturing site with 44 direct and four contract employees. The site’s main product line is nonionic surfactants – or more simply – liquid soaps used in industrial and institutional cleaning products. The plant also produces waterborne epoxy resin coatings. These are zero VOC, waterborne, epoxy resins. They are used in floor sealers, paints and anticorrosive coatings for metal Original Equipment Manufacturing.

In 2015 annual production at the facility decreased slightly from 93.82 to 86.51 million pounds. Air emission rates were down, resulting in a decrease in reported emissions from 11,590 to 10,904 pounds. Overall off-site disposal decreased from 126,075 to 117,007 pounds. The percent decrease in air emissions and off-site disposal amount corresponded with the overall percent decrease in annual production.
The Air Products Performance Manufacturing Reserve facility makes every effort to maintain world class performance. In 2016, the facility celebrated over two years without an OSHA recordable incident and over 24 years without a lost time incident.
